Dr. Jacqueline Specht (Associate Professor, University of Western Ontario) teaches in the area of educational psychology and special education. Currently she is the director of the Centre for Inclusive Education and teaches in both the pre-service and graduate programs. Her research interests encompass pedagogical issues surrounding the participation of children in the school system.

Dr. Jacqueline Specht, is a Professor who teaches in the area of Educational Psychology and Special Education. She completed her Ph.D. in Psychology at the University of Western Ontario in 1994. From 1993 to 2003, Jacqueline taught in the Psychology Department at Huron University College. She joined the Faculty of Education in 2003. Currently she is director of the Centre for Inclusive Education at the Faculty and teaches in both the pre-service and graduate programs.

Research Interests

  • Pedagogical issues surrounding the participation of children in the school system.
